My TPS-L2
I currently have 2 examples from different generations, both of which I was able to get quite far below market price. Around 20 USD for the first generation which was advertised as broken and around USD 7 for the 2nd generation which was in very bad cosmetic condition but was still with its orginal leather case.
I feel very lucky, as these prices are quite cheap by local standards. Here in Indonesia, I'd say that the going rate of for a working TPS-L2 is around Rp. 500,000 - 1 million (about USD 50-100). A far cry from international prices which can reach almost USD 1000.
The 1st generation turned out to be a very simple fix. The fault was that it was running backwards, just a matter of a wrongly routed belt. An understandable error since it was quite a complicated layout. The 2nd generation was working fine except that it's dirty, looks bad and only 1 channel was working. Something I'll try to get fixed later on.
